Isaac Piñeiro (1976) is a product designer based in Barcelona. He was born in Pontevedra and, after training at the Mestre Mateo School of Arts in Santiago, moved to Valencia where he studied Product Design at EASD. He continued his education at the Scuola Politecnica di Milano, where he had the opportunity to learn from professionals such as Odoardo Fioravanti, Huub Ubbens, and Matali Crasset.
His projects are based on formal and conceptual simplicity with the aim of enduring over time. His main goal is to create intuitive products grounded in a pursuit of efficiency in conception, production, and design.
After a successful career as co-founder of the multidisciplinary design studio Nadadora, in 2017 he began a new chapter with the creation of Isaac Piñeiro Design Studio to continue developing product design projects.
His work has been published and exhibited in various media, museums, and international fairs. Among other recognitions, the most recent is the Best Of the Year’17 award from Interior Design magazine for his Tortuga seating collection.
